How can I tell if an Amazon Prime sale price is a real low?
Compare the price per unit to the lowest price per unit the same product has had over the last 90 days. If today's price is at or near that low, it is a real deal. If it is above it, the sale badge is only a label.
Are the cheapest listings always the ones at a 90-day low?
No. A listing can be the cheapest per unit today and still be well above its own recent low, or sit at its low without being the cheapest. This page shows both numbers side by side.
